Hi! I am Bob Comtois -Professional Photographer
At an early age my father introduced me to photography, fishing, hunting, hiking/exploring and a love of nature and the outdoors. Armed initially with an old Kodak film camera and then becoming a Canon devotee, I did my best but the challenge was waiting for the developed photo to see how well I did.
The photos on this site, as of now, are images captured with digital cameras beginning in 2010. What a difference digital imaging makes with instant feedback and the ability to get the best image possible while it is available. At some point I will begin to convert the thousands of slides and negatives into digital so I can share a lifetime of memories and places visited but, for now, I am concentrating on the many images captured since 2010.
In the last few years, I have focused on the post processing of my images and that has given me the chance to revisit and recall my travels – at least since 2010.
