Massachusetts is my home state and has many diverse landscapes and attractions from Cape Cod to the western Berkshire mountains to the cityscapes of Boston and Worcester. Massachusetts is blessed with many historic places and landmarks as well as a history dating back to colonial times.

There are several waterfalls in Massachusetts that are very picturesque but for several it takes some effort to get to the waterfall.
Cape Cod offers miles of beaches, numerous ponds and wildlife sanctuaries as well as many historic sites.
Maudslay State Park is a landscaped and decorative park along the right bank of the Merrimack River. It features thickets and former estate gardens, rolling meadows, tall pines, and one of the largest naturally occurring stands of mountain laurel in the Commonwealth. The most striking natural feature of the park is the primeval stands of white pine on the steep slopes and bluffs of the river. The laurel forms a continuous thicket along the forest floor around the pines, which are frequently a nesting site for bald eagles.
Moore State Park is a small park near Paxton Massachusetts with wonderful trails and the well-maintained remains of an old mill.
